An explainer
How a Hurricane Is Built
A narrated explainer, just under 6 minutes: how a hurricane forms, what each category does to a house, why the scale stops at 5, and whether there could be a Category 6.
How it was made
Claude Code drew every scene in code as a web page: the atmosphere as a wind tunnel, the storm, the test house and every gauge. A script captured that page frame by frame and ffmpeg turned the frames into video. Each animation is timed to the sentence that describes it.
The narrator is a stock ElevenLabs voice. The wind, rain and impact sounds are generated in code from the same timeline. Captions are in the player.
